I grew up in beautifully green Sparks, Maryland and have spent my entire life learning and growing in the Baltimore area. I’m happy to be practicing dentistry in the community that has given me so much throughout my life.
My natural compassion for people and my love for both art and science are what inspired me to become a dentist. At Valley Dental Health, we exist to promote excellence in dental care by treating every patient with kindness, respect, and a commitment to long-term oral health.
I truly enjoy developing meaningful relationships with my patients and feel honored to care for multiple generations of families. I’m proud to work alongside our incredible team at Valley Dental Health—people who share my dedication to delivering personalized, high-level dentistry with warmth and integrity.
I graduated from the University of Maryland Dental School, the first dental school in the world and still one of the most prestigious. My passion for lifelong learning led me to complete a competitive two-year residency in Advanced General Dentistry at the University of Maryland, where I served as Chief Resident. During this time, I developed a strong foundation in cosmetic dentistry, preventative care, root canal therapy, and implant dentistry.
After completing my residency, I was honored to join the faculty at the University of Maryland School of Dentistry, where I taught and mentored the next generation of dental professionals—all while simultaneously working in private practice. Teaching reminded me that dentistry is not just a science or a skill, but a calling rooted in service, empathy, and continuous growth.
During my residency, I also completed an externship on a Native American reservation in South Dakota. That experience deepened my understanding of health disparities and reinforced my commitment to serving communities with limited access to care. At Valley Dental Health, our team continues to give back through charitable outreach and volunteerism—and it remains one of the most meaningful parts of what we do.
I live in Baltimore with my fun-loving husband, our adventurous twins, and our two spirited dogs. When I’m not in the office, you’ll likely find me hiking with my dogs, exploring new places, watching documentaries, or long-distance skating with my skate community. I’m passionate about living life to the fullest and bringing that same energy and joy to my work.
On a personal note—I’ve been honored with multiple Invisalign awards, including Platinum Provider status and recognition for excellence by the American Academy of Clear Aligners many times over the years. I’ve spoken nationally as a dental educator, and most recently, you might have seen me in an international Sensodyne commercial!
